Staff Parking Only in Pistol Range Lot (all others park by BQ)
1. Match Schedule: (All musters 0630 unless otherwise noted. Muster means on the range with your rifle/pistol and equipment.)
2. Directions: From I-64 West or I-64 E, exit onto I-264 E towards Virginia Beach. Then exit onto Colonial Blvd. Follows signs to NAS Oceana. Go past NAS Oceana, and at the third light (past NAS) take a right onto General Booth Blvd. Take a left at the light onto Dam Neck Blvd. Immediately after going through the gate at Dam Neck, take a left at the light and follow the road/signs to the Navy Lodge/BOQ. Park in the BOQ parking lot. Registration is at the admin building in front of the pistol range. As you drive upon that road you will pass, in sequence, (1) Bachelor Officers Quarters on the right and a Navy Lodge on the left, (2) Pistol Ranges on the right. The building at the Pistol Range parking lot is where you go to check in. The rifle range and armory is through the security gate and approximately a quarter mile down the road from the gate.
The Bachelor Enlisted Quarters are on the same road, at the other end. For example, upon entering the Training Center and passing the sentry, turn right at the light. The last building on the left before the security gate is where you check in.
Personally Owned Firearms: All personally-owned firearms may be transported (unloaded, cased or boxed, and in the trunk or otherwise not immediately accessible within the vehicle) to the Armory only and checked in. All weapons will be returned to the Armory each day. The Armorers' van and Armory has very limited storage therefore only bring weapons you intend to use in competition. If you don't intend to shoot it, leave it at home.
Individuals staying in the BOQ or BEQ during the matches must check-in their firearms at the Armory immediately after arriving at the Training Center. If you arrive at the Training Center after work hours, you must check your firearms in with Security (next to the sentry at the gate). The following morning, you may take the firearms down to the armory. All firearms must be returned to the armory at the end of the day. No firearms may be taken to quarters. Information on Federal and State firearms laws (which apply during transit to the Training Center), are available on the National Rifle Association website, and NRA members can obtain hard copies of the same materials by calling 1-800-672-3888, and hitting "5."
